Diversified Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments, also known as spinal manipulation, involve applying controlled, quick pressure to the spine to correct misalignments. This treatment helps increase mobility, relieve pain, and improve overall function by restoring proper alignment in the spine and reducing stress on surrounding muscles and joints.

Soft Tissue Therapy (Manual Therapy)

Soft tissue therapy focuses on treating muscle tension and tightness through hands-on techniques like massage and stretching. It helps alleviate pain, reduce muscle tension, and promote faster healing by improving blood flow to the affected areas and reducing inflammation.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

IASTM uses specialized tools to apply targeted pressure to soft tissues, breaking down scar tissue and adhesions in muscles and connective tissues. This treatment enhances tissue mobility, reduces pain, and helps improve flexibility and overall function, making it ideal for those recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic pain.

Exercise Rehabilitation

Exercise rehab combines physical therapy-style exercises designed to strengthen muscles, improve mobility, and restore function. Dr. Joel creates personalized exercise plans for each patient, targeting specific areas that need rehabilitation. These exercises not only aid in recovery but also help prevent future injuries by improving strength and flexibility.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy involves placing suction cups on the skin to improve blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. The suction created by the cups helps release tight muscles and fascia, allowing for better mobility and reduced discomfort in areas of pain or injury.

Dr. Joel’s background in sports medicine allows him to create targeted treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and help prevent re-injury, allowing athletes to return to their activities stronger and healthier.

Car Accident

Chiropractic care is important for individuals involved in car accidents because it helps address and treat the immediate and long-term effects of auto-related injuries, especially those related to the spine, muscles, ligaments, and nervous system.

  • What is the cracking sound during an adjustment?
When a chiropractor applies a quick, controlled force to a joint, it causes a change in pressure within the joint capsule. This pressure change can lead to the rapid formation and collapse of tiny gas bubbles in the synovial fluid (the fluid that lubricates joints). The collapse of these bubbles creates the distinctive popping or cracking sound. It's important to note that the sound is not an indicator of a successful adjustment. Some adjustments may occur without any sound, and patients can still experience effective relief and improved function
